At Higher tier you need every person of the imperfect, future and conditional, plus five more irregular future and conditional stems.

Imperfect: all persons

-ar: -aba, -abas, -aba, -ábamos, -abais, -aban
-er / -ir: -ía, -ías, -ía, -íamos, -íais, -ían
ser: era, eras, era, éramos, erais, eran. ir: iba, ibas, iba, íbamos, ibais, iban. ver: veía ... veíamos, veíais, veían.

Future and conditional: all persons

Infinitive (or irregular stem) + ending.

More irregular stems

Foundation: tendr-, har-, podr-, pondr-.
Higher adds: saber: sabr-, querer: querr-, venir: vendr-, decir: dir-, salir: saldr-.
Vendrán mañana. (They will come tomorrow.) Diríamos la verdad. (We would tell the truth.)
Worked example

Translate: They will come tomorrow.

  1. venir has the stem vendr-
  2. ellos future ending: -án
  3. tomorrow = mañana

Answer: Vendrán mañana.

Key idea

Imperfect plurals: -ábamos / -íamos, -abais / -íais, -aban / -ían. Future plurals: -emos, -éis, -án. Conditional plurals: -íamos, -íais, -ían. Extra stems: sabr-, querr-, vendr-, dir-, saldr-.
