Questions and help
Answers to questions students have asked us about using GCSE-ready. Questions about a topic go into the lessons themselves.
Where can I get my writing marked, for example a history or English essay?
Use Correct my answer. Paste your answer or essay, add the question and the marks if you have them, and you get feedback like a teacher would give: what went well, each mistake explained, a better version to learn from and what to practise next. You can have 5 answers marked a day. The feedback is written by an AI model and can be wrong, so your teacher's marking and the exam board's mark scheme are the final word. Short questions inside each lesson are marked instantly.
Can I revise from my school's student booklet, notes or worksheets?
Yes. Use My work: add the text of your booklet, notes or worksheet, one topic at a time, and get a short lesson, key terms, quiz questions and exam-style questions with model answers. Files are read on your device; only the text in the box is sent to make the lesson, and GCSE-ready does not save it. You can make 3 lessons a day.
Can I use the London lesson as my developed city case study?
Yes. For International GCSE Geography, Topic 6 (Urban environments) asks for a case study of a city in a developed country, and the London lesson covers it, including the challenges the specification lists. For GCSE Geography A, London is your case study of a major UK city.
