Say where you go on holiday, how you travel, who with and where you stay.
To and in a place
a = to: Voy a España. Voy a Francia. Voy a Londres.
en = in: Estoy en Italia. Vivo en Escocia.
Unlike French, the word does not change for masculine or feminine countries.

en + transport: en coche (car), en tren, en avión (plane), en autobús, en barco (boat), en bici (bike)
but a pie = on foot.

Holiday details
Voy de vacaciones con mi familia. = I go on holiday with my family.
Me alojo en un hotel / un camping / en casa de mis abuelos. = I stay in a hotel / at a campsite / at my grandparents' house.
