To say what you are going to do, Spanish uses ir (to go) + a + an infinitive.

Ir is irregular. Learn it.
Making the near future
ir (present) + a + infinitive
Voy a estudiar. = I am going to study.
Va a trabajar. = He / she is going to work.
Do not forget the a.

El año que viene, voy a ir a la universidad. = Next year, I am going to go to university.
