Talk about who is in your family and your pets, using tener (to have) and the words for my, your, his and her.
Family words
mi padre (father), mi madre (mother), mis padres (parents), mi hermano (brother), mi hermana (sister)
mi abuelo, mi abuela (grandparents: mis abuelos), mi tĂo (uncle), mi tĂa (aunt), mi primo, mi prima (cousins)
Pets: un perro (dog), un gato (cat), un conejo (rabbit), un pez (fish)
Soy hijo Ășnico / hija Ășnica. = I am an only child (boy / girl).

Tener: to have
My, your, his, her
Translate: I have a brother but I don't have a sister.
- I have a brother: tengo un hermano.
- but: pero.
- I don't have a sister: no tengo hermana (no before the verb).
Answer: Tengo un hermano pero no tengo hermana.
Tener: tengo, tienes, tiene, tenemos, tenéis, tienen. My = mi / mis, your = tu / tus, his or her = su / sus. Negative: no tengo...
