Aller (to go) is one of the most useful verbs in French. With an infinitive, it lets you talk about the future.
Aller: to go
The near future
aller + infinitive = going to do something.
Je vais jouer au foot. = I am going to play football.
On va regarder un film. = We are going to watch a film.
The infinitive is the dictionary form: jouer, faire, manger, aller.

Negatives and time phrases
Ne ... pas goes around the part of aller: Je ne vais pas sortir. = I am not going to go out.
Time phrases: demain (tomorrow), ce soir (this evening), ce week-end (this weekend), samedi prochain (next Saturday), la semaine prochaine (next week), l'année prochaine (next year).

Translate: Tomorrow I am going to play football with my friends.
- Tomorrow: demain.
- I am going to play: je vais jouer (aller + infinitive).
- football with my friends: au foot avec mes amis.
Answer: Demain, je vais jouer au foot avec mes amis.
Aller: vais, vas, va, allons, allez, vont. Near future = aller + infinitive: je vais jouer. Negative: je ne vais pas jouer. Use time phrases like demain and ce week-end.
