From Text 1, identify two things the writer says about the house at Saltby.
- Find the sentences about the house.
- 'smelled of damp and seaweed'
- 'The beds sagged.'
Answer: It smelled of damp and seaweed; the beds sagged.
Questions 1 and 2 (2 marks each) are on Text 1; Questions 4 and 5 (1 mark each) are on Text 2. Use the right text and lines, give exactly what is asked and keep it short.
