The speaking test lasts 8 to 10 minutes and is worth 40 marks (25%). It has a picture-based discussion and two conversations.
Structure
Task A: a discussion of a picture you have chosen in advance (about 2 to 3 minutes). Questions move from describing the picture to giving opinions and talking about related past or future events.
Tasks B and C: two conversations on different topic areas (about 3 to 3.5 minutes each). The topics are chosen at random.
Some sub-topics are not assessed in speaking: services, role models, childhood, weather and climate, and accidents and injuries.

Conversations
Develop every answer: opinion + reason + example + another time frame.
