Talk about the weather and what you do in different weather and seasons.
The weather
¿Qué tiempo hace? = What is the weather like?
With hace: hace calor (it is hot), hace frío (cold), hace sol (sunny), hace viento (windy), hace buen tiempo (good weather), hace mal tiempo (bad weather).
Llueve. = It is raining. Nieva. = It is snowing.
Está nublado. = It is cloudy. Hay tormenta. = There is a storm.
With hace: hace calor (it is hot), hace frío (cold), hace sol (sunny), hace viento (windy), hace buen tiempo (good weather), hace mal tiempo (bad weather).

Seasons
en primavera (in spring), en verano (in summer), en otoño (in autumn), en invierno (in winter).
En invierno hace frío y a veces nieva.

Weather and activities
Cuando = when. Cuando hace sol, voy a la playa.
Cuando llueve, me quedo en casa. = When it rains, I stay at home.
Note: hace calor = it is hot (weather), but tengo calor = I am hot (a person).

Translate: In winter, when it is cold, I watch TV.
- In winter: en invierno.
- when it is cold: cuando hace frío.
