Talking about holidays means saying where you go, how you travel and what it is like.
Where you go
Voy a + place: Voy a España. Voy a Madrid.
Voy al campo (to the countryside), voy a la playa (to the beach). a + el becomes al.

Transport
en + transport: en avión (plane), en coche (car), en tren, en autobús, en barco.
a pie = on foot.

Weather and accommodation
Hace calor (it is hot), hace frío (it is cold), hace sol (it is sunny), llueve (it is raining).
Me alojo en un hotel. = I stay in a hotel.

Translate: I go to the beach by car.
- I go = voy
- to the beach = a la playa
- by car = en coche
Answer: Voy a la playa en coche.
